The system incorporates innovative modular connections that allows easy building with solid beams from several beautiful wood types. All cut to precision to ensure a perfect fit.
Self Assembly structures are no longer restricted to Glue Laminated (Glulam) timber. All the flexibility, durability and ease of build are present, but without the need for intrusive extra supports, pin components or dependence on only one type of material.
All our timber frame post and beam kits are handcrafted in a choice of:
- Green Oak,
- Douglas fir or
regardless of whether it is one of our pre-configured kits or a bespoke design.
They are not machine mass produced.

The most popular style of roofs consist of:
- Flat Roof
- Gable, Barn End or Hipped
- Standard low pitch rafter roof (Generaly used to keep within the 4m rule)
- Steep pitch rafter roof with a room in the roof
Our post and beam system caters for all of these and can be supplied with roof lights, and dormers.
All roof timbers are pre-cut and bird mouthed so no cutting is needed on site making the roof assembly just as easy as the frame. Cuts are treated with Enseal® wood preservative.
You can choose which timber you prefer
You can even mix and match. Want Oak front facing post and beams but a cheaper timber for the rest ?. No problem !
